Residential Roofing in Pine Meadow
Most of our Pine Meadow work is residential. The housing stock here is a mix of post-war capes and ranches, 1970s and 80s colonials, and a handful of older farmhouses, and each type has its own roofing quirks. Homeowners in the valley care about three things: stopping leaks before they damage the house, getting a roof that will survive the next twenty winters, and having a contractor who answers the phone when the warranty claim comes up. We handle all three.
- Full roof replacement — We tear off the old shingles, inspect and replace any soft roof decking, install ice and water shield at the eave, and finish with GAF Timberline or Owens Corning Duration architectural shingles. Most Pine Meadow replacements are done in one to two days with a dumpster staged in the driveway.
- Roof leak repair and tracing — Leaks in Pine Meadow rarely start where the stain shows. We trace the water through the attic, check ice damming at the eave, inspect chimney flashing and pipe boots, and repair the actual entry point. You get photos of the fix before we leave.
- Storm and insurance documentation — After a nor'easter or a summer microburst, we tarp the roof, document hail damage and wind damage with dated photos, and write the scope in the format your adjuster expects. We meet the adjuster on the roof so the claim gets approved on the facts.
- Attic ventilation and ice dam prevention — If you get ice dams every winter, the roof is only part of the problem. We check attic condensation, exhaust venting and insulation, then correct the ventilation balance so the roof deck stays cold. That is what actually stops the dam from forming again.
